The original fabric is a printed cotton used as a lining of an altar frontal from Ängsö church, central Sweden. The lining show traces of reuse and was probably once used for a dress. The fabric is heavily faded and the original colours hard to detect. The colours for the reproduction were chosen to match the Durán Textiles design JUMPING DOG. The print could be dated to the 1790-ties. The place of manufacture is unknown.
